Let Your Voice Be Heard About Afterschool & Win A $25 Gift Card
Many parents of children who attend San Francisco Unified School
District schools will soon receive a phone call asking them to
participate in a phone survey about their experiences and needs for
after school programs. Each night parents who complete the survey will
be entered in a raffle to win a $25 gift certificate to Borders.
Please help encourage parents throughout the city to participate in the
phone survey if they are contacted (parents will be randomly selected to
participate so that the survey results are representative of all
parents.) The survey responses will help guide policy and planning
efforts related to afterschool programs citywide.
The phone survey will be conducted in English, Spanish, Cantonese and
Mandarin during the first three weeks of May, 2008. San Francisco State
University is conducting the survey on behalf of SFUSD, the SF
Department of Children, Youth and Their Families, the Parent Advisory
Council, and the citywide Afterschool for All Advisory Council.
For more information, please contact Linda Lovelace at SFUSD at
lovelacel@sfusd.edu or Sandra Naughton at DCYF at snaughton@dcyf.org.
